A builder people call back
We take on a small number of projects at a time, most of them close to the Sonoma office. That keeps us present on site and available to the people doing the work.
Our roots in the North Bay go back to 1982, when Cam Fraser founded Cam Fraser Construction in Marin. In the early 2000s, as the company’s work increasingly shifted to Sonoma Valley, it became Wine Country Builders. Many of our clients have been with us for decades.
Most of our work comes from repeat clients and from architects and designers we have worked with before. Those relationships depend on clear communication from the start.
That is why we prefer to be brought in while the drawings are still moving. Early pricing gives you real numbers before the design is fixed, when adjustments are still easier to make.
We build custom homes, whole-house remodels, kitchens, baths, and additions. We also take on smaller residential projects when the fit is right.
Who we work with
Homeowners across Sonoma and Napa, some of them working with an architect or designer and some coming straight to us. Much of our work is repeat business either way.
