Accessibility Statement
Last updated: August 2026
Wine Country Builders is committed to making this website usable for everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboards, or other assistive technology.
Our standard
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. Accessibility is built into how the site is made — semantic HTML, real form labels, sufficient color contrast, visible keyboard focus, and descriptive alternative text on every meaningful image — rather than added by an overlay widget. We do not use accessibility overlay or plug-in products, which do not deliver genuine conformance.
What we do
- Every page has a single main heading and a logical heading order.
- All interactive elements are reachable and operable by keyboard, with a visible focus indicator.
- Images carry descriptive alternative text; decorative graphics are hidden from assistive technology.
- Text meets or exceeds the 4.5:1 contrast ratio for normal text.
- Form fields have real, associated labels, and errors are described in text.
- Motion is minimal and respects the “reduce motion” setting in your operating system.
Known limitations
We test with automated tools and by keyboard, but no site is perfect. If you find something that is hard to use, we want to fix it.
