Kitchen Remodeling

The appliance plan comes first

A kitchen is a set of stations — cold, wet, hot, prep, serve — before it is a set of cabinets. We lay out how the household actually cooks and gathers first, then draw the cabinetry around it. It is the difference between a kitchen that photographs well and one that also works at seven on a weeknight.

Materials that earn their place

We select stone, timber and hardware for daily use and straightforward maintenance. The materials need to perform over time, not just photograph well on the day the work is finished. Where a detail is worth getting exactly right, we build a sample first.

A schedule that keeps a family fed

Most kitchen remodels take six to fourteen weeks once construction starts, depending on scope and the lead times for cabinetry and appliances. We contain demolition and dust, and set up a temporary kitchen where the house allows it.
