Built on word of mouth

Cam and his company did an excellent job for us when we bought a property in Sonoma Valley a few years ago. We needed quite some renovation in and around the house, and Cam and his team were professional, customer focused and always followed up to ensure quality work got delivered in the agreed time frame. Cam even helped us with expert advice when we originally were interested in buying a home, and as a result we declined to move forward with one house and chose the one we are now in, again with Cam as our trusted adviser. The work encompassed outside walls (new stucco), all new doors and windows, extra new windows and many small jobs in and around the house. Cam also connected us with many good contractors and partner for work outside the specific project we engaged him. What was also special was his personal attention to the project and the details. This was helpful and necessary to get a great job finished. We are very happy and highly recommend Cam and his team.

We have worked with Cam over the last 20 years on a number of major remodels. Without exception, his work has been consistently of the highest quality and completed within agreed upon timeframes. Even more importantly, Cam is a pleasure to work with. He has a high degree of integrity. He listens. He follows through. He sticks by his word. He stands by the quality of his work and his products. And he has a sense of humor. We couldn’t recommend him more highly.

I have used Cam for several jobs at three different houses. Cam is terrific to work with. He is organized, pays attention to details and is not afraid to speak up about a better way to do things or to save money. Cam is a pro I highly recommend him.

I have supplied building materials to Cam’s company, Wine Country Builders for over 35 years. Having been in the Building Industry for over 40 years myself and dealing with thousands of general contractors over that period of time I would rate Cam Fraser in the upper 1 percent in every category. I’ve been on jobsites with Cam where he has met with clients to discuss their options and scope of work for the project and is always extremely professional and well prepared to answer any questions they may have. He has not only invested time himself to be gain knowledge with various building material manufacturers by visiting their plants and attending seminars but also had his entire crew take extensive training in advanced building skills workshops. They are highly trained and well managed which shows in the quality of work they produce. I would highly recommend Cam Fraser and Wine Country Builders to anyone who is looking for quality craftsmanship and personal service second to none.

My husband and I have had the pleasure and good fortune to work with Cam Fraser & Wine Country Builders for over 25 years. Cam handled a significant remodel of our home, and over 20 years later, I still receive compliments regarding his work. I continue to work with Cam on subsequent home projects & upgrades. Cam’s workmanship and professionalism are exemplary; he brings a wide range of contractor knowledge and experience, accountability for his work, and ready responsiveness to any client engagement. I have recommended, and will continue to recommend, wholeheartedly and unconditionally, Wine Country Builders.

I have built and remodeled several houses over the years on both the east and west coast. At our house in Sonoma that we built around 10 years ago, we have completed two major additions in the last 3 years. For both additions, we have used Cam/Wine Country Builders. without a doubt, they have been one of the most professional and quality builders that we have ever seen. Their broad knowledge not only helped in creating the addition but in executing the project. All projects have challenges. Some builders look for others to blame, avoiding responsibility. Cam and his people always look for creative solutions and stay on top of the project from beginning to end. I would not consider anyone else for any future building needs. He is the best.

From project planning to completion Cam is there to see everything is done right the first time. His crews keep the job site so clean and uncluttered that it’s hard to believe a remodel is going on. Only the best sub-contractors, materials and workmanship. No detail, no matter how small, is overlooked. A true pleasure to work with and he stands behind what he does. If you had more than 5 stars I would rate him higher.

Wine County Builders is one of the most professional, technically advanced, and trustworthy general contractors in the wine country. They have built several luxury homes and major remodels for my clients. I can trust that Cam Fraser will execute the designs carefully, with the highest care, quality workmanship, and with full cooperation and support from start to finish. He adds value to any project, and I highly recommend Cam and his firm. Victor Conforti - Architect, Sonoma, CA

We chose Wine Country Builders to remodel an old second story office space into a lovely vacation suite on the Plaza in Sonoma. Cam Fraser, the owner, recommended Jeff Zimmerman as architect, and both were generous and helpful with their time and expertise. The project was completed on budget and ahead of time, and is BEAUTIFUL. Photos are available at “sonomaloft.com”…This whole project was stressfree. We had many recommendations for WCB and are extremely happy we hired this company, and are pleased to give them the highest recommendation.

I have done a dozen homes over the years and Wine Country Builders have provided the best results without the drama often experienced with renovations. Every member of their crew has a terrific sense of esthetic and professionalism. In this instance you get what you pay for and they are worth every dollar.

As an interior designer in Sonoma County (Tamera Embree Designs), I have had the privilege of working with Wine Country Builders on a large historic remodel/addition in Sonoma. Cam and his team of sub-contractors were very professional and well organized. They showed integrity and a strong code of ethics. The final product exceeded the clients expectations. I look forward to working with him again and have no reservations referring Wine Country Builders.

Wine Country Builders is a highly professional builder and/or remodel expert with outstanding customer service and a great team of subcontractors. Cam Fraser’s projects are on time, state-of-the-art, and of the highest quality. We have been pleased with the custom home Wine Country Builders built for us. It was a difficult project because of the hillside, volcanic setting and all the 100 year old Oak trees, as well as the historic elements which we chose to keep (and were also required by the city) to be saved. We continue to have Wine Country Builders design and complete other projects for us since we have been so satisfied with their work.

Cam and his team were a joy to work with from beginning to end. I found their professionalism and can-do attitude refreshing and exciting. They accommodated my family during our 4+ month remodel / kitchen addition, and made an effort to finish on schedule, which meant working through pouring rain and on weekends, so I could host Thanksgiving dinner. I trusted Cam’s opinion (which I appreciated and needed) and loved Jim’s ability to keep everything on track. All the guys were a pleasure to have on site. Strong, whole hearted recommendation.
