Sonoma Casual

A new house on a Sonoma hillside, built in white clapboard over a stone base with a standing-seam metal roof. Covered porches run along the front and rear, and a walled terrace steps down to the pool.

Inside, the main rooms sit under vaulted plank ceilings with a loft above, and the kitchen is built around a curved granite island with a second prep island beside it.

A barn on the property came down, and its timber lines the entry and family room walls.
